Fountain of Life Rescue Shelter is the ONLY emergency shelter in our local area.

It is our mission to respectfully and compassionately empower men & women experiencing homelessness with hope by providing emergency shelter and connecting the homeless with the available resources in Thomas County.

We rely on monthly donor support and a handful of grants we receive each year to fund shelter operations. We hold a 501(c)3 IRS non-profit, non-denominational, charitable organization tax status.

Fountain of Life Rescue Shelter provided services and support 1,660 times in 2025.
When clients enter the shelter, they are offered a hot shower, warm meal, laundry services, guidance to community resources and next steps, and a safe place to sleep for the night.
How to Help
Pray
Pray for those who come to the the shelter and those who haven't found us yet and pray for the advocates, board members, and supporters of the shelter as we continue the work we do at the shelter.

Our Story
Founded by Jimmy Moore in 2019, who enlisted the help of other like-minded individuals within our community to help develop, guide, and grow his vision into the shelter we currently know.
